We are living in a time when our weight or lack there of is taking centre stage for women. The rise of weight loss medication and the ease of its availability and the increased messaging that to be carrying extra weight now is unthinkable and completely unnecessary is a slippery slope.

Let me tell you what our thoughts are on this and what is so important to us that we changed our business model.

New Year New You!!!

Don’t get me started 😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫

The New Year can be a lovely opportunity to focus on some positive change, growth, letting go of what no longer serves you well …. Totally here for that!

But the idea that it’s a time for dieting, restricting, atoning, guilting yourself into action …. No Way!!

Setting unrealistic and unhealthy New Year Resolutions.. the majority of which research shows have already failed by mid January …. Is no way to start a positive New Year.

Instead, think about what your intention is for the year ahead, what do you want for yourself, what does that look like, feel like? Now, what are the positive behaviours associated with this intention?

Don’t think quick win, in terms of weeks but rather focus on the long game, think months.

Don’t get side tracked by all the shiny false promises doing the rounds at this time of year .. all those heavily discounted plans, programmes, supplements… they are deliberately just out to makes as many quick sales as possible. They poke at your pain points, make you feel like it’s worth a quick punt.. but let’s be honest, you know in your heart it really isn’t. Youve probably been here before, fingers crossed hoping that maybe this time something sticks.

New Year Resolutions and the quick fixes that scrounge of the back of them are just wicked I. My opinion because they only leave you feeling worse about yourself.

You deserve better.

You don’t need a New Year to make positive change for yourself, you don’t need to upgrade yourself to a new version.

But we get it, after a week of feasting, feeling sluggish, wanting to lighten up … it feel like you are doing something positive in setting these New Year Resolutions… so here’s something to consider instead. Not resolutions, rather than small daily mindful changes… these are the backbone of sustainable health and wellness.
