Red Berry Blast Smoothie

This red berry blast smoothie is great for all the family. The cucumber and spinach are sweetened by the red berries and once blitz are completely disguised! Using frozen berries gives this smoothie a slush puppy texture, making it lovely in the sunshine and fun for kids.

Serves 4
  • 2 cups of frozen berries
  • 1/2 cucumber
  • 1 cup coconut water
  • 1 grapefruit
  • Small handful of spinach
  • 1 dsp flaxseed


A super simple smoothie to make, using the frozen berries gives a great semi-frozen texture. The flax seed and spinach add fibre and protein to this smoothie making it a well balanced afternoon snack.

Squeeze the grapefruit juice and hold back half a cup of coconut water. Blitz everything in Vitamix or smoothie maker. Add the rest of coconut water if smoothie is too thick.

Serve straight away.
