We have marked the day in a variety of ways over the years … today we were lucky enough to be sharing our 16th with this weeks lovely Retreaters.

20 Years Strong … and we almost missed marking the event!!!!

Co-founder Julie has been designing and delivering residential weight loss retreats for 20 years this month.

Well, when we say retreats the truth is that the first 4 years Julie designed and managed one of the UK’s first weightloss bootcamps.

But something about the model didn’t sit right, Julie wanted to go beyond “Eat Less & Move More “ still the basis for so many weight loss bootcamps. She wanted to look at a more holistic approach that would ensure that weight lost was both safe and sustainable.

Now at The Body Retreat, in our 16th year Julie has not only developed her own skills and experience, she has developed the movement programme to something that is unmatched for women’s health.

Julie is not one for self promotion, she is the epitome of the strong silent type, but it’s fair to say that with 20 years experience Julie is an expert in her field.
